Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment

At DCC, we understand that cyber adversaries no longer engage kinetically, their strategy has shifted to a more asymmetrical approach. From exfiltration of valuable information, to attack on critical systems, to manipulation of software to gain unauthorized access, the cyber ecosystem is constantly fraught with risk.

We review your existing cybersecurity program to understand your readiness to deal with today’s advanced attack vectors. This review includes identifying and assessing internal processes and documentation as well as meeting with relevant stakeholders within your organization in cybersecurity functions and responsibilities. Our approach is consistent with industry recognized model such as the DoD CMMI and the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework, we incorporate all functional areas of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 15504 and the CIS Critical Security Control Top 20.

We work with you to identify, assess and develop a profile of your cybersecurity posture, and evaluate maturity levels across existing capabilities and efficacy of security program with the aim of evaluating the readiness of a targeted attack and control gaps. To this end, the assessment will help you answer the key questions:

  • What are the gaps in my cybersecurity program across people, processes and technology?

  • What is the current state of maturity across the organization from a Cybersecurity perspective?

  •  What is the expected level of maturity for a target state?

  • How does it stack to the maturity level of others in my industry and/or competitors?

  • What steps can be taken to optimise or improve the organization’s security posture?

  • How should capabilities be prioritized to measure growth and secure what matters most?

  • How does these capabilities fit into investment and risk decisions?

Our team of dedicated experts will work with you to provide options for add-on services to harness your cybersecurity maturity needs. Detailed Roadmap: Builds on the cybersecurity maturity assessment by reviewing recommendations in the context of your cybersecurity priorities and existing plans and develops a recommended sequence for implementing them. This includes a Gantt chart of the proposed roadmap and descriptions of how each recommendation affects your overall maturity and the factors involved in implementing them. Technical Health Checks: Augment the detailed roadmap described above with quarterly reviews of your implementation progress. The goal is to help you resolve any issues you encounter and revise the roadmap as necessary.
